The Apprenticeship

Your skills and experience will be in high demand throughout your career, thanks to our innovative 4-year apprenticeship program. Starting mid-January 2026, you'll receive practical and theoretical TAFE-based training, mentored by experienced tradespeople and industry experts. You'll learn basic and advanced trade skills in our onsite workshop and through department rotations, gaining hands-on experience and a versatile set of valuable, transferable skills.

On successful completion you will be accredited with;

  • Certificate IV (not just Cert III) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Additional Training provided for High-Risk Work Licences including Forklift, EWP, and Dogging.

About you

  • Completion of Year 10 ROSA minimum
  • Minimum age of 17 by January 2026
  • An interest in Mechanical work with a drive to learn and develop your skills both in the classroom and on the tools
  • Strong commitment to Safety and Teamwork
  • The ability to get to and from work each day and to TAFE for training (approx. 1 day per week)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a supportive, team-based environment.
