We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our vibrant academic community in two streams:

  1. Education-Focused
  2. Education and Research-Focused

These are continuing opportunities for academics from Levels B, C and D. Applications are invited from academics with experience in all areas of law, but we are especially interested in applicants with a track record of teaching in the core law curriculum. We also have needs in a range of electives such as Advocacy and Negotiation and clinical subjects.

Summary of what we are seeking in each stream:
Education-Focused (Teaching & Learning)

Successful applicants will contribute to teaching, learning, engagement, leadership, and service at Melbourne Law School, and undertake some research related to pedagogy or Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. They will teach in the JD program and MLM, including core JD subjects, and may also teach law-related subjects to students in other faculties, including Breadth subjects.

Education and Research-Focused (Teaching, Learning & Research)

Successful applicants will contribute to teaching, learning, research, engagement, leadership, and service. They will teach in the JD program and MLM, including core JD subjects, and may also contribute to law-related subjects for students in other faculties, including undergraduate Breadth subjects.
