About the Role

This is a Fixed Term Position for 12 months

The Senior People & Culture Business Partner will work closely with the aligned Branch/s Executive and Leadership team to develop and implement DTP’s people strategy in line with DTP’s overarching strategic plan.

You will build a detailed understanding of your client group(s) to support the development of short-term and long-term people management and culture strategies to deliver the desired business benefits.

The role will involve scoping, developing, and supporting the delivery of enterprise-wide projects in collaboration with the Division’s subject matter experts.

Position Outcomes / Accountabilities

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, understand nuances across client groups, and become a trusted advisor, actively influencing at senior levels.
  • Partner with the client group’s executive team to build tailored people management strategies aligned with strategic goals.
  • Contribute to the senior leadership team by providing sound advice, offering confidential support, and challenging current thinking.
  • Understand the strategic and operational priorities of divisional executive teams and incorporate these into people initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other Business Partners.
  • Represent insights and feedback from client groups when co-designing people initiatives.
  • Work with leadership teams to implement key people activities.
  • Lead significant change activities, such as restructuring, within client groups.
  • Partner with the broader team to ensure advice and support are tailored to business needs.
  • Undertake analyses and provide evidence-based feedback to the Manager of P&C Business Partnering.
