About the Role
This is a Fixed Term Position for 12 months
The Senior People & Culture Business Partner will work closely with the aligned Branch/s Executive and Leadership team to develop and implement DTP’s people strategy in line with DTP’s overarching strategic plan.
You will build a detailed understanding of your client group(s) to support the development of short-term and long-term people management and culture strategies to deliver the desired business benefits.
The role will involve scoping, developing, and supporting the delivery of enterprise-wide projects in collaboration with the Division’s subject matter experts.

Key Selection Criteria
We seek a dynamic Senior P&C Business Partner with proven experience in strategic and tactical HR consultancy. The candidate should assess workforce needs and deliver integrated, future-focused people strategies, with expertise in organizational development, workforce planning, talent management, and workforce analytics.
Strong stakeholder management skills are essential—building trusted relationships with senior leaders, balancing needs, and guiding decision-making with clear, strategic advice. The ability to facilitate collaborative solutions aligned with departmental and government objectives is crucial.
Analytical and critical thinking skills are vital for diagnosing challenges and applying frameworks to create sustainable HR outcomes, including performance management, grievances, and workplace conflicts. The candidate must be adaptable and responsive to shifting priorities.
