Job description

The VIA Graduate Program is an 18-month development program designed to expose participants to different functions within the business through rotational assignments, relevant projects, and training. This program is tailored for recent graduates with specialized education in investment-related fields, aiming to rapidly develop their investment skills and provide significant developmental impact to crew members with limited relevant work experience.

At Vanguard, we believe in making success accessible to everyone, including you. By joining our 24-month, rotational Graduate Program with our Investments Management Group (IMG), you'll have numerous opportunities to learn, grow, and advance your career while contributing to our investors' success.

About Vanguard

More than 45 years ago, John C. Bogle envisioned creating an investment company that did things differently—without external shareholders, reinvesting profits to lower costs. This bold vision remains true today. Vanguard Group continues to operate without external shareholders, meaning no share prices to protect and no profits to generate for outside owners.

Our core purpose is simple: to take a stand for all investors, treat them fairly, and give them the best chance for investment success. We foster an inclusive environment that values diversity and equality, supporting our crew, clients, and communities worldwide.

Today, Vanguard is one of the world's largest investment management firms, serving over 50 million investors globally. For more than 25 years, Vanguard Australia has helped individual investors, financial advisers, and superannuation members achieve their long-term financial goals.

Invest in Your Success with the IMG Graduate Program

Australia is a key trading and portfolio management hub for Vanguard. The Investment Management Group (IMG) includes investment strategists, portfolio managers, traders, risk managers, and shared services experts responsible for portfolio management, trading, and research across the Asia Pacific region.

Graduates in the IMG program will gain comprehensive exposure to various teams such as: EIG (Equity Investment Group), FIG (Fixed Income Group), ISG (Investment Strategy Group), and IMFR (Investment Management & Finance Risk). The program emphasizes global collaboration, industry and economic insights, and risk-controlled investment management to support clients' investment goals.

Upon completing the program, participants will have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
