Domestic & Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service (DFV&SAS) Team Leader

Position Overview:

As the Team Leader, you'll use your leadership skills to build team culture and support your dedicated team caring for individuals impacted by sexual abuse, domestic and family violence (DFV), and children under 10 with problematic sexualised behaviours. You'll lead the ISLHD Domestic Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service (DFVSAS) working on the lands of Dharawal and Yuin nations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of counsellors providing assessments, crisis intervention, and ongoing counselling to adults and children affected by violence and sexual assault.
  • Provide clinical and line management oversight, guidance, and support to team members.
  • Maintain a small clinical caseload.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in social work or psychology with full AHPRA registration or eligibility for AASW Membership.
  • Extensive experience in psychosocial assessments, therapeutic counselling, risk assessment, safety planning, advocacy, report writing, and court support with trauma-affected individuals.
  • Ability to provide clinical and management oversight.

Urunga House, Wollongong | Grade: Social Worker Level 4, Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist | REQ568802 | Permanent Part-Time, 36 hours/week

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • $39.01 - $67.15 per hour + 11.5% super & salary packaging
