Job description

Fyfe is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing comprehensive engineering, environmental, planning, and surveying services throughout Australia. Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Infrastructure, Property and Energy & Resources sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.

Our national environment group is looking to appoint a Principal Environmental Consultant to join our Melbourne team.

You will have extensive industry experience and a strong understanding of contaminated land principals and local regulatory compliance. You may be a generalist or specialise in a particular area of site contamination consulting such as remediation, auditing, hydrogeology, risk assessment etc. While the role can be tailored to the individual, key activities may include project direction/management, client management, staff training and mentoring staff, project and office support nationally, business development, proposal preparation, technical input and report reviews.

Fyfe is currently in an exciting phase of national growth, and we also have opportunities in our Brisbane and Adelaide office.

Requirements

A tertiary degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Environmental Management or related qualification

  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and other key stakeholders to ensure thorough environmental advice and successful project delivery
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Experience in training and mentoring staff
