Hourly Rate: $43.99 – $49.43 (based on experience and qualifications) + bonus eligibility

Lead a 37-Place Centre with Purpose – Busy Bees at Mt Lawley North

Busy Bees at Mt Lawley North is a small, family-oriented day care with a home-like environment. This 37-place service features beautifully designed rooms, natural resources, and engaging learning opportunities for children. Conveniently located on Monmouth Street, close to restaurants, shops, and the Mount Lawley Bowling Club.

Are you a passionate early childhood leader ready to manage a thriving service? Busy Bees at Mt Lawley North is seeking a confident Centre Director to lead our 37-place centre in Perth, WA.

You will lead a high-performing team, build strong relationships with families and the community, and ensure the delivery of quality early childhood education and care.

About the Role
  1. Oversee daily operations of the centre
  2. Lead and mentor educators and room leaders
  3. Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS, and Busy Bees policies
  4. Develop relationships with families and the local community
  5. Manage enrolments, budgets, staffing, and occupancy
  6. Collaborate with Area Director and national support team
What You’ll Need
  • ACECQA-approved Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Experience as a Centre Director or 2IC in a similar-sized service
  • Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven leadership, team management, and communication skills
  • Budgeting, rostering, and operational experience
  • Current Working with Children Check (WA)
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting certificate
