We're looking for a seasoned Senior Network Engineer holding NV1 clearance to join our client on a contract basis to help design, implement, and support high-performing and secure network infrastructure. You'll play a key role in building resilient, scalable solutions across enterprise and private cloud environments, ensuring maximum availability and performance for internal users and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise and cloud-based network infrastructure and services
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for complex networking issues (Level 3)
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and handovers
• Continuously assess and optimize network hardware and software for performance, reliability, and security
• Collaborate with peers and mentor team members to uplift network capability and standards

What You'll Bring

• 5-7+ years' experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, VPN), routing/switching, and firewalls (e.g., FortiGate, Cisco)
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking platforms (ASR, Catalyst, NX-OS, IOS-XR), load balancers (F5), and SD-WAN technologies
• Familiarity with VMware environments, virtual switching, and cloud-integrated network solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or in a high-performing team
