SYPAQ is seeking a Software Developer to join our team working with the Defence Science and Technology Group in South Australia.

This role involves providing software development support to enhance the Data Management and Science & Technology Reports platforms, including Dspace and Redbox. These containerised platforms run on Linux servers and utilize current web development frameworks deployed via CI/CD pipelines, managed using Agile methodologies.

The successful candidate will have skills in building Java and Angular applications from source, with the ability to manually install packages as needed. Proficiency in code modification and addition is essential; experience with Java, Angular, and Python is highly desirable.

Essential Criteria
  1. Demonstrated experience in customizing and deploying full-stack web applications and their CI/CD pipelines.
  2. Experience with Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, and Java.
  3. Experience in Linux administration and Web Application configuration.
  4. Experience with current Web Development Frameworks and languages.
Desirable Criteria
  1. Experience with DSPACE.
  2. Experience with RedBox.
  3. Database Management and Development skills.
  4. Experience with Python.
Application Requirements
  1. Must hold a current NV2 or higher Defence Security Clearance.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience.
  3. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  4. Demonstrated consulting skills.
  5. Ability to work independently or in a team.
