Facilitator, Primary and Secondary Schools, Community Impact (Casual)
The opportunity

As our facilitator with a lived experience of disability, you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences with school-aged children, to inspire, educate, and join the Community Impact team based in the Sydney region, NSW. This role is offered on a casual basis, requiring availability for up to three days of work per week, primarily during school term time.

This role is based in Warrang – Sydney. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities
  1. Deliver world-class disability inclusion workshops to school-aged students (Years 1-7) in Sydney and surrounding areas, in person and virtually.
  2. Build and maintain successful relationships with schools to ensure continued partnerships whilst collecting valuable teacher feedback, acting as an outstanding brand ambassador for our client.
  3. Achieve KPIs related to workshop quality and evaluation feedback.
What we look for
  • Lived experience of living with a disability, including the ability to share personal experiences to promote social inclusion.
  • Experience in presenting or educating, preferably to school-aged groups, with the ability to engage and inspire audiences through various mediums.
  • Eligibility to obtain a valid Working with Children Check and the capacity to learn and retain presentation content.
