Job description

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled, and motivated Project Building Surveying Team Leader to join our Asset Team within the Repairs and Investment Section. Reporting to the Principal Officer - Investment and Programme Delivery, you will lead the management of work streams such as kitchens, bathrooms, aids and adaptations, and external works.

You will work in partnership to ensure that customer objectives regarding quality, communication, and care are met. You will oversee programme delivery within budget and on schedule, ensuring key performance indicators are achieved.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience and good knowledge of Health & Safety, relevant legislation, and hold an appropriate qualification in property/housing maintenance as specified in the person specification.

Experience in managing and supervising a small team of surveyors and support staff is essential. You should be confident, resilient, and adaptable to changing demands, with sound commercial awareness, financial acumen, and strong organisational, planning, and report-writing skills. The role involves conducting site visits.
