Job description

We are seeking an experienced, caring and professional small animal veterinary locum to jump in and assist our team.

We are an ASAV Accredited Hospital of excellence and have a large friendly and professional team of Veterinarians, Nurses, a dedicated consult room Nurse and Receptionists. Our purpose-built hospital has in-house lab services, digital x-ray (including dental) and ultrasound.

Full Time preferred but will consider Part Time, Monday to Friday no on call and no after hours. 1 in 4 Saturdays (Shifts will be 8am to 7pm, 8am to 2/4pm).

The days are varied and interesting covering a range of small animal medicine and surgery, including:

• Client consultations and working with nurses on nurse triage patients
• Basic surgeries but an interest in more advanced surgery is encouraged and welcomed
• Dentistry including extractions
• Radiography; including dental (both digital)
• Ultrasonography
• Interpretation of onsite Idexx lab results

Hold a Veterinary Board Registration from within Australia

Hold or be able to apply for a Radiation License within the ACT
