We have exciting Underwriter opportunities in our Retail Life Insurance team.

If you are ready to advance your underwriting career in Zurich’s vibrant, agile environment, we want to hear from you!

You will develop and maintain relationships with key advisers, manage a designated adviser panel, and collaborate with stakeholders to provide technical advice and support. You will ensure underwriting standards and service level agreements are applied to all cases, including applications and pre-assessments.

Important to your success - Unlock your potential

• Extensive experience in underwriting individual term life, income protection, TPD, and trauma insurance with high-level individual underwriting authorities.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement.
• Customer-focused mindset with a solutions-driven approach.
• Completion of medical terminology course.
• ANZIIF and ALUCA CPLI certifications are strongly desired.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
