Resource Innovative Recycling Solutions is seeking a Production Manager to run the main e-waste processing line on the factory floor. You will spend most of your day on the floor, including operating the excavator, to control feed and line performance.

You will report to the Operations Manager and lead the e-waste crew, ensuring safety, quality and productivity while handling rostering and daily production planning.

Qualificações

• At least five years running production in heavy industry, manufacturing, mining, materials processing or recycling.
• Experience leading a small crew, including rostering.
• Hands-on experience running plant: shredding, screening, conveying or mechanical separation.
• Comfortable operating excavator, skid steer and forklift; Australian licence requirements sorted before start.
• Able to plan a day’s production against targets and keep production records.
• Good judgement on process and quality; notice output drift early.
• Willing to work on the floor in PPE every day.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety in heavy industry.
• Clear spoken and written English for safety instructions and production reports.

Responsabilidades

• Plan daily production order and sequencing based on floor status and staffing.
• Control feed rate and what is loaded into the line, primarily from the excavator.
• Keep the line running, perform quality checks, monitor hours, and coordinate maintenance.
• Monitor throughput and output cleanliness, adjust settings and crew placement to hit targets.
• Oversee costs of operation, consumables, wear parts and power per tonne produced.
• Fill production sheets and hand over to the next crew and the Operations Manager.
• Manage crew day-to-day, assign tasks, coach staff and address underperformance.
• Maintain a safe, tidy area and enforce safety rules on the floor.
• Suggest improvements and assist with new gear installation and commissioning.
