Job summary

UGL Limited is seeking an experienced E&I Work Pack Engineer to join our team on an ongoing basis for an Oil & Gas project in Perth, WA. You will develop Work Packs, analyse schedules and drawings, and ensure compliance with client standards.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree or electrical licence, Power BI/Excel proficiency, and at least 5 years in oil and gas. You will work a 5/2 roster from Perth CBD with a focus on safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or A-grade Electrical Licence.
• Certificate IV instrumentation.
• Desirable: Certificate IV hazardous areas.
• Experience in E&I construction on major projects.
• Experience with commissioning and systems completion.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI data analysis skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop Work Packs and Job Cards from schedules, models, and drawings.
• Track work pack progress and maintain status updates with document control.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and lead constructability reviews.
• Provide engineering technical support during project phases.
• Develop on-site engineering control systems and procedures.
• Resolve performance issues to keep project on track.
• Build relationships with internal teams and clients.
• Support changing project activities and outputs.
• Champion safety and regulatory compliance.
