Job summary

Proton Power is seeking experienced E&I Technicians for shutdown and maintenance works at the Tianqi Lithium facility in Kwinana, WA. You will perform loop checks, commissioning support, and instrumentation testing while adhering to site safety procedures.

Roles are 12-hour shifts on a 2-month initial contract with day and night rates. Candidates must hold WA Electrical Licence and Instrumentation Qualification, with CPR/LVR, White Card, and a valid Driver's Licence.

Qualifications

• Must hold WA Electrical Licence and Instrumentation Qualification.
• Experience in E&I maintenance and loop checking required.
• Ability to interpret electrical/instrumentation drawings and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform loop checks and commissioning activities.
• Support Stage 3 and Stage 4 commissioning.
• Test and verify instrumentation and control systems.
• Fault find and troubleshoot E&I equipment.
• Interpret electrical/instrumentation drawings and ensure site procedures are followed.
• Work collaboratively within the commissioning team.

Proton Power is seeking experienced E&I Technicians to join our team for shutdown and maintenance works at the Tianqi Lithium facility in Kwinana.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing maintenance team and contribute to a major industrial operation. We are looking for candidates with proven maintenance experience who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

E&I Technicians

• 12 Hour Shifts
• 4, 4, 5, 5 Roster
• $80.00 per hour Flat Rate (Days)
• $100.00 per hour Flat Rate (Nights)
• ASAP Start
• 2 month initial contract

Key Responsibilities

• Perform loop checks and commissioning activities
• Support Stage 3 and Stage 4 commissioning works
• Test and verify instrumentation and control systems
• Fault find and troubleshoot E&I equipment
• Interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings
• Complete all work safely and in accordance with site procedures
• Work collaboratively within the commissioning team

Essential Requirements

• Current WA Electrical Licence
• Instrumentation Qualification (Mandatory)
• Previous E&I maintenance
• Proven loop checking experience
• Current CPR/LVR
• White Card
• Current Driver's Licence
• Must be clean shaven and able to wear respiratory protection
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

Desirable

• Previous experience within lithium, mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments
• Exposure to major commissioning projects
