Job summary

EnerMech is seeking experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians for upcoming maintenance, shutdown and turnaround projects across major industrial sites in the Gladstone region. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and electrical systems and participate in calibration, testing, and commissioning of field instruments.

Successful candidates will show strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, hold relevant licences, and commit to safe work

Qualifications

Certificate III or trade qualification in instrumentation or electrical.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and drug screening.
Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence (where applicable).
White Card (Construction Induction).

Responsibilities

Preventative and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems.
Calibration, testing and commissioning of field instruments.
Fault finding and troubleshooting of control systems and instrumentation equipment.
Shutdown and turnaround execution.
Loop checks and functional testing.
Maintenance of transmitters, analyzers, valves and related instrumentation.
Support plant reliability and operational performance.
Adhere to site safety and quality procedures.
