Job summary

Pearl Recruitment Group is seeking experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning Technicians for FIFO projects across Western Australia. You will deliver electrical and instrumentation commissioning from construction verification through to handover, across mining and heavy industrial sites.

Key duties include documentation, loop checks, calibration, and functional testing of motors, MCCs, switchgear and SCADA systems, with safe delivery and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted WA Electrical Licence.
• Current LVR/CPR certification.
• Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, Gas test, Basic Fire training.
• WA White Card.
• BHP Inducted or willing to complete.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• Minimum 12 months commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Completing commissioning documentation and ITRs.
• Construction verification, no-load and load commissioning.
• Loop checking, calibration and field instrumentation verification.
• Functional testing of motors, MCCs, switchgear, valves, PLCs and SCADA systems.
• Updating commissioning mark-ups and redline drawings.

Perth FIFO 8:6 & 2:1 Rosters, 12 hour days

$95/hr (dayshift) $105/hr (nightshift)+ Super on All Site Hours + Travel

Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a well-established engineering and automation specialist to recruit experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Commissioning Technicians for multiple FIFO projects across Western Australia.

With a strong pipeline of work across major mining and industrial sites, these roles offer excellent hourly rates, paid travel, varied rosters and project durations of up to 6 months.

Our client is a leading Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. What will this position involve?
