Job summary

Motion Australia is seeking an ERP Business Analyst to consolidate legacy ERP into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain. Based in Chullora with hybrid work, you’ll bridge business and technical teams to deliver standardised processes and successful transitions.

You will work with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement and Customer Service stakeholders to translate needs into practical D365 solutions and support data migration, reporting and adoption.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, ERP Consultant or comparable role.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, enhancements or transformation initiatives.
• Strong capability in business analysis, process mapping and documenting requirements.
• D365 Finance and Operations experience is highly desirable; SAP or another ERP also considered.
• Exposure to Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution or Finance environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops, interviews and process reviews to gather and validate business requirements.
• Document user stories, process maps, business rules, and functional specs.
• Translate business needs into practical D365 and ERP solutions with standard vs custom options.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and collaborate with developers through design and delivery.
• Support testing, defect investigation and resolution, including user acceptance testing.
• Contribute to data migration, validation, cutover and post-go-live support.
• Gather reporting requirements and support insights via D365, Power BI, SQL or Excel.
• Develop training materials and user guidance to support adoption.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and strengthen controls.
• Promote standardised, reusable solutions across the business.
