Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to create a nurturing, learner-centred classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Commitment to engage with colleagues, students and parents to enrich learning outcomes.
• Passion to support students' spiritual and moral development.
• Catholic education teaching eligibility if teaching Religious Education.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
• Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community.
• Work with the leadership team, teachers and other staff to foster a positive school culture.
• Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Establish positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development.
• Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
