Job summary

Australian Christian College Casey is seeking a passionate Secondary Mathematics teacher to join our growing P–12 campus from Term 1 2027. This is a part-time 0.8 FTE role, with potential to take on a Secondary Coordinator position for suitably experienced applicants.

The successful candidate will teach Secondary and VCE Mathematics, develop strong mathematical understanding, and contribute to curriculum and program development in a supportive Christian learning community.

Qualifications

• Evidence of right to work in Australia
• Proof of identity
• Recognised teaching qualification
• Clearance status of Working with Children Check
• Registration with VIT
• References from child-connected roles

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement teaching programs or courses of study
• Demonstrate content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet diverse needs
• Participate in coaching and professional development
• Provide a child-safe environment in accordance with policies
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and devotional activities
• Contribute to curriculum and program development in a growing secondary school
• Build strong relationships with students, staff and families
