Live North West QLD is seeking an experienced Kitchen Hand / Housekeeper for a busy, owner-operated hotel in Cloncurry, Outback Queensland. The role spans kitchen, housekeeping, and occasional other venue areas, with hands-on hospitality in a friendly team environment.

Applicants should have prior fast-paced kitchen experience, basic cooking skills, a strong work ethic, and RSA certification. Minimum commitment is 6 months, with onsite living in regional Queensland.

Qualifications

• This role requires prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or similar high-volume hospitality setting.
• Basic cooking skills are highly regarded and preferred.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during service periods.
• Flexibility to assist across different areas of the business.
• Current RSA certificate is required.
• Previous remote or regional hospitality experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform general kitchen hand duties including dishwashing and cleaning.
• Assist chefs with food preparation and basic cooking.
• Plate meals during service and run meals to customers.
• Support kitchen pass and catering/ function orders.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as required.
• Occasional work in the bottle shop or bar area and other operations.
