Matrix Education is hiring Science Teachers across Chemistry and Physics to join us at our Box Hill campus. Classes run after school or on weekends, with resources provided and minimal lesson prep required.

You will teach weekly classes, monitor student progress through quizzes, and identify students needing extra mentoring from academic leads, contributing to a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching VCE Chemistry and/or Physics in a classroom setting.
• Strong knowledge of the current VCE science curriculum.
• Completed degree in Education, Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Teach regular weekly classes throughout the academic term.
• Monitor student progress via short weekly quizzes.
• Flag struggling students to academic leaders for mentoring.
