Zusammenfassung

Viva Leisure is seeking a dynamic Group Fitness Instructor to lead Reformer Pilates sessions at our Club Pilates Tuggeranong studio. You’ll energise members, deliver engaging classes, and help clients reach fitness goals in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

You’ll report to the Studio Manager, join a passionate team, and contribute to a vibrantCanberra fitness community with a strong emphasis on safety, customer care and consistent class delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Certificate III in Fitness or Group Exercise Leader (GEL) Certification.
• Strong knowledge and passion for the fitness industry.
• Understanding of fitness training methods, exercise principles, and relevant technologies.
• Skilled in applying first aid procedures and promoting safety procedures.
• Experience in sales and customer service, ideally within fitness or retail sectors.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills; ability to engage diverse members.
• Compassionate, organised, and able to guide members in a safe environment.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality group fitness classes with professionalism, including setup, pack down, and safe use of equipment.
• Role model Viva Leisure values and uphold high standards of behaviour and conduct.
• Motivate and support members, ensuring correct technique and fostering member relationships for retention and growth.
• Collaborate with club staff and the Viva Leisure team.
• Maintain compliance with Work Health & Safety policies and report hazards.
• Stay current with certifications and adhere to fitness industry standards and facility procedures.
• Promote gym services and assist members with enquiries, escalating to the Club Leader when needed.
• Ensure class coverage by notifying the Club Leader in advance if unavailable to teach.
