Mayfield Childcare Limited in Mooroolbark is seeking a Casual Educator to support illness and roster gaps. You will help deliver a nurturing, education-focused environment for the children in our care.

You will work between 6.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, pursuing a Cert III in ECEC or ACECQA-equivalent, with WWCC and relevant training. Join a community-focused team valuing development and family partnership.

Qualifications

• Requires current WWCC.
• Undergo First Aid/Child Protection/Red Nose/Food Safety training or willing to obtain.
• Knowledge of Child Safe Standards and NQF/EYLF.
• Genuine passion for Early Childhood and ability to build relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Ensure child safety and wellbeing through active supervision.
• Collaborate with team to implement age-appropriate curriculum.
• Provide personalised attention addressing individual learning needs.
• Guide behaviour with positive reinforcement for social development.
• Maintain open communication with parents about progress and concerns.
• Participate in team meetings to ensure cohesive early education approaches.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment respecting diverse backgrounds.
