Job summary

Lakewood City Schools seeks a Middle School Cross Country Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. This position requires eligibility for the Ohio Pupil Activity Permit and completion of basic athletic certifications, including CPR. The coach will report to the Athletic Director, building principal, and/or designee.

The role focuses on developing student-athletes, organizing practices, and coordinating with school staff for meets and events within the Lakewood City School District.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible to obtain Pupil Activity Permit from the Ohio Department of Education.
• Must complete all necessary athletic certifications (CPR, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Coaches 7th grade cross country.
• Reports to Athletic Director, building principal, and/or designee.
• Runs practices and oversees meet day operations.
