Job summary

Cater Care is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager at Newcastle Airport outlets to lead the team, keep service flowing and adapt between customer service, kitchen operations, coffee and beverage service during busy shifts.

You’ll bring hospitality experience, supervisory skills, barista abilities and RSA/Food Safety qualifications, with a valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle, and be available for afternoon shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, retail or kitchen operations.
• Previous key-holder or supervisory experience.
• Barista skills and willingness to work across all operational areas.
• Current RSA and Food Safety Supervisor qualifications.
• Current driver’s licence and your own vehicle.
• Availability for afternoon shifts starting at 12 noon, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and lead team members across multiple outlets.
• Deliver consistent customer service and resolve operational issues.
• Assist with food preparation, kitchen duties and dishwashing.
• Provide barista and bar beverage service.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Support staff training and ensure shift tasks are completed efficiently.
