The Albatross Bay Resort in Weipa is seeking a reliableDuty Manager to oversee daily operations, mentor a tight-knit team, and ensure guests enjoy an exceptional experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You will lead front-of-house operations, motivate staff, and act as the primary contact for guests, while managing rosters, stock, and regulatory compliance. A rewarding role with onsite benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a busy pub environment.
• Positive attitude with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for exceptional customer service.
• Flexibility to work a hospitality roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Solid understanding of cash handling, stock control, and hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations across Sports Bar, Bistro, TAB, Keno and Gaming lounge.
• Mentor, develop and motivate staff to maintain a community, teamwork and inclusive culture.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guests, resolving inquiries and floor issues.
• Manage staff rostering, stock control and daily operations to ensure smooth running.
• Uphold health, safety, liquor and gaming requirements.
