About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Duty Manager to join the team at Palm Beach Soccer Club. As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our sports club, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

Management of staff, including training, rostering and on-shift management

Ensuring compliance with all relevant OH&S, Food Hygiene and licensing regulations

Identifying opportunities to build sales and increase revenue whilst controlling costs.

Supervising and coordinating superior service and quality to ensure delivery of outstanding guest experiences.

Driving a positive working environment and leading by example

Overseeing the smooth running of events, functions, and other club activities

Monitoring and maintaining club facilities, equipment, and supplies

Addressing and resolving any member and guest issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

Assisting with administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 year experience in a similar duty manager or supervisory role within the hospitality or sports and recreation industry

RSA, RSG and RMLV Qualification

Approved Managers License and Working with Children Blue Card desirable but not essential

Experience in a gaming environment

Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team

Proficiency in using standard office software and point-of-sale systems

A passion for the hospitality and sports industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
