Job summary

The Highway Hotel in Adelaide is seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to lead day-to-day bar and front-of-house operations and drive service excellence across the venue.

You will motivate staff, maintain high standards, and ensure compliance with RSA, gaming, and liquor policies while delivering memorable guest experiences. A strong leader with hospitality passion is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Bar Manager, Duty Manager, or hospitality leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume bar operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Current RSA and Responsible Persons Badge (desirable).
• Gaming experience and relevant gaming badges will be highly regarded but are not essential.

• Manage and support bar staff during busy service periods, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.

• Assist with venue-wide operational management as required, including coordinating service across multiple departments.

The HWY Hotel is seeking an experienced full-time DutyManager to join our management and leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership and help lead one of Adelaide's favourite local hospitality destinations.

Featuring a lively lounge and sports bar, gaming room, quality dining offerings, function and entertainment spaces, and retail outlet, this role will suit a hands-on leader who enjoys motivating teams, driving service excellence, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the bar and front-of-house service areas
