An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Duty Manager to join the leadership team of a well-established hospitality venue located in one of Australia's premier entertainment and events precincts.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading from the front, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Working closely with the Venue Manager, you will play a key role in leading daily operations, developing your team, coordinating functions and events, and driving consistent service excellence across the venue., As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading Front of House operations and service delivery
• Coaching, mentoring and developing Hospitality Attendants
• Driving exceptional guest experiences and service standards
• Managing venue operations during busy service periods, functions and special events
• Coordinating private functions and events from enquiry through to execution
• Building strong communication between Front of House and Kitchen teams
• Managing guest feedback and resolving issues professionally
• Ensuring compliance with RSA, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
• Assisting the Venue Manager in delivering strong commercial and operational outcomes

About the Candidate

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor or similar leadership position
• A strong background within fast-paced restaurant, pub, event or hospitality environments
• Proven ability to lead, coach and inspire teams
• Strong food and beverage knowledge
• A genuine passion for customer service and guest experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A positive, proactive and team-focused approach
