Job summary

UGL Pty Limited invites applications from experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to join our site team in Pinjarra. The role offers attractive rates, site uplift, travel allowance, and a 5/2 roster with daily DIDO to Pinjarra.

You will install, maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems, inspect and repair control systems, read drawings, and perform scheduled maintenance to meet safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• WA Grade A Electrical Licence
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces (Within 2 Years with 6 months validity)
• LVR and CPR within 12 months
• HRWL (WP, LF – Desirable)
• Site experience mandatory

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems
• Inspect, test, and repair control systems, PLCs, DCS, and field instruments
• Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and manuals
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance, ensuring all systems meet safety and operational standards
• Diagnose and resolve faults to minimize downtime and optimize turbine performance
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety personnel to drive continuous improvement
