Job summary
Sante Recruitment is seeking a dual-trained Staff Specialist in General Medicine and Gastroenterology to join a modern regional health service in NSW. This 0.5 FTE split appointment offers clinical variety, teaching, and opportunities for professional development within the Hunter New England Health network.
The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient care across General Medicine and Gastroenterology, participate in governance, and contribute to high-quality regional
Qualifications
- FRACP specialist qualifications or eligible for Fellowship in General Medicine and Gastroenterology.
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for specialist registration in Australia.
- Dual training in General Medicine and Gastroenterology with capability for a 50/50 appointment.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient assessment and management in General Medicine and Gastroenterology.
- Provide outpatient consultations and contribute to clinic activity.
- Participate in education, supervision and multidisciplinary care planning.
- Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement.
