Qualifications

• Hold Specialist Registration with AHPRA or be eligible for registration.
• Be enrolled in the RACP Specialist Pathway or eligible for the pathway.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality inpatient and consultative General Medicine services.
• Manage a broad range of acute and complex medical presentations.
• Lead multidisciplinary ward rounds and coordinate patient care.
• Supervise, mentor and teach trainees, registrars, residents and medical students.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development initiatives.
• Contribute to the consultant on-call roster.
• Engage in education, research and development of General Medicine services.
