Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) invites applications for a dual Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients and families in a frontline role.

The position emphasizes relationships with women to achieve the best outcomes, advanced midwifery values, and accountability for care plans in partnership with the team. Antenatal, postnatal services, and home visits are included.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
• Commitment to patient-centred care across Nursing and Midwifery wards, cultural safety, and ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Lead care for women and families, building trust and partnership to achieve the best outcomes.
• Involve in Midwifery Antenatal and Postnatal Service programs, including clinics and home visits.
• Establish and evaluate the women’s plan of care with the care team and the patient.
• Collaborate with the health care team to deliver high-quality frontline care.
