Job summary

MLHD in Tumut NSW is seeking an experienced Dual Registered Nurse / Midwife to join our frontline care team. This role offers a diverse, rewarding workload and is eligible for NSW Rural Health Workforce Incentives, including a significant sign-on and ongoing annual incentives.

You will deliver high-quality nursing and midwifery care, supporting women and families across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a rural hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
• Commitment to patient-centred care across Nursing and Midwifery wards, cultural safety and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families in a dual RN/Midwife role.
• Lead excellence in perinatal care, establishing strong relationships with women and families to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide antenatal and postnatal services, including clinics and home visits as part of the Midwifery program.
