Job summary

St Joseph's College, Lochinvar in the Hunter Valley is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Secondary Japanese/English Teacher to join the team in January 2027. The college provides a rich and diverse educational experience for students in Years 7 to 12 within a Catholic ethos.

The successful candidate will plan contemporary teaching programs, assess student progress and work with staff and families to support learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to articulate a clear commitment to Catholic Education and to support the Catholic ethos and culture of the school.
• Ability to plan and prepare contemporary and compliant teaching programs and assessments in nominated areas meeting diverse student needs.
• Demonstrated ability to utilise assessment data to optimise educational outcomes.
