Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management in Dandenong South is seeking an experienced HR driver to operate a side-lift truck on a full-time basis. The role involves regular exits from the truck to move bins, early starts at 5:00am, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

You will handle loading and unloading waste, deliver to recycling and disposal facilities, maintain vehicle presentation, and train on side-lift operations if needed.

Qualifications

• Must have an HR licence with at least 12 months experience.
• Experience with side-lift trucks is preferred; training available for the right candidate.
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.
• Available for early morning starts around 5:00am.

Driver - Side Lift

• Full Time Permanent Role - Dandenong South Location
• Good hourly rate + potential overtime, RDO 5.00am Start
• Must be an experienced HR Driver with 12 months experience

The Opportunity

Based out of our Dandenong South depot, this role involves operating a side-lift truck. It can be physically demanding, with an expectation that you will regularly exit the truck to move bins throughout your run.

• Side lift collection vehicle for municipal contracts
• Performing loading and unloading duties of waste
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

You are an experienced licenced HR driver

• Must have a HR LICENCE with at least 12 months experience
• Strong work background - Waste would be amazing
• Side lift experience desirable but not essential - Will train the right candidate
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Must be available for an early morning start 5.00am
• Clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service ethic
• Commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
