Job summary

Lindsay Transport in Mackay is seeking an experienced Driver to join our team. Based at the Mackay Depot, you will operate shuttle runs including Mackay to Miriam Vale, and Mackay to Brisbane, on a permanent full-time basis.

You will uphold safe work practices, handle temperature-sensitive freight, deliver excellent customer service, and work closely with depot teams to load, unload, and transport freight. The role requires a current valid driver licence, prior commercial driving experience, and

• BFM licence preferred but not essential.

Lindsay Transport is Australia's largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. Based from our Mackay Depot, we are offering consistent shuttle runs on a permanent full time basis:

Tuesday to Thursday Mackay to Miriam Vale

Friday - Saturday Rostered days off

SundayMackay to Brisbane

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Safe Always - Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.

Temperature Sensitive Freight - working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.

Customer Service - Interacting with customers in a professional manner.

Teamwork & Communication - Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.

Good Work Ethic - Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go!

Quality Checks & Control - Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.

What You'll Bring:

• Current and valid driver licence to perform the above-mentioned role.
• Previous Commercial Driving Experience detailed in your resume.
• Current BFM, preferred by not essential.
• A safe driving record, you will be required to provide a copy of your driving history.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
• Well presented, professional and reliable.
