Cleanaway, Australia’s leader in sustainable waste management, invites you to join our Container Deposit Scheme in Mudgee. We are hiring a Rear Lift Operator for casual work, handling loading/unloading, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

A valid HR licence with experience and a safety-first mindset are essential. This casual role is 2-3 days per week, 5-10 hours per day, with a pay rate of $43.30 per hour.

The Opportunity:

Embrace the opportunity to join our CDS team and make a significant impact in container collection and recycling. You'll handle the crucial tasks of loading and unloading returned containers, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

This is a casual role working 2-3 days per week, 5 to 10 hours per day.

As a Rear Lift Operator you will be responsible for:

• Driving and operating a rear lift collection vehicle
• Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities.
• Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training
• Maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high quality customer service at all times

About you:

• HR licence a must with experience
• 7-day roster across a variety of shifts - flexibility is a plus!
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Committed to safety and a team-oriented mindset
• Willing to undergo pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing
