Overview

Based at our North Melbourne branch, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver with leadership experience for full-time work performing essential services throughout the region. This role will be approx 3 days driving and 2 days in the office!

As a Driver - Leading Hand, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities
  • Leading and supporting a team of drivers, along with supporting our Operations Supervisor
  • Setting rosters and coordinating driver runs
  • Operating waste collection vehicles such as rear and side lift
  • Ensuring all prestart checks are carried out and drivers depart depot on schedule
  • Assist with training new drivers and supporting ongoing team development
  • Completing all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required
About You
  • Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence as a minimum
  • Experience in the waste, transport or logistics industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of safety and compliance procedures
  • Basic computer and mobile technology skills
  • Willing to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
