Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a dedicated Driver to support the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. You will transport ADF personnel, perform vehicle checks, complete documentation and maintain safety standards at HMAS Cairns, QLD.

The role requires a current Class C license, ability to obtain Defence clearance, and strong communication. You will work independently when needed and contribute to a reliable, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance
• Pass a pre-employment physical assessment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic records

• Australian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement

Responsibilities

We're seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you'll play an important role in providing safe and efficient transportation services while supporting Defence operations and personnel.

Role Location:

• HMAS Cairns, QLD

Your responsibilities will include:

• Transport ADF personnel to and from Defence establishments and other designated locations.


• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicles to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.


• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.


• Operate vehicles safely and professionally in accordance with company and Defence requirements.


• Work independently when required while maintaining strong communication with the wider team.

What we are looking for:
