Team Global Express is a Australian-owned transport and logistics business delivering to Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a permanent full-time driver to operate tautliner and tailgate trucks, complete local deliveries and pickups, and uphold the highest safety standards.
The successful candidate will have experience with tautliner and tailgate operations, DG and LR knowledge, CoR compliance, and a customer-focused approach, with reliable, punctual performance and the ability to work
This is apermanent full-time position, workingMonday to Fridaywithstart times between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, depending on operational requirements. Overtime is available when required.
You'll be responsible for completing local pick-ups and deliveries, operatingtautliner and tailgate trucks, and providing excellent service to our customers while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Safely operate HR tautliner and tailgate vehicles.
Complete local deliveries and pick-ups within scheduled timeframes.
Load andhand unload freightwhen required.
Secure and restrain loads using the correct load restraint equipment.
Complete daily vehicle pre-start inspections and report defects.
Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation.
Follow all Team Global Express safety procedures and policies.
Report hazards, near misses and incidents in accordance with company procedures.
Work closely with the operations team to deliver outstanding customer service.
Previous experience driving tautliner and tailgate trucks.
Knowledge ofDangerous Goods (DG)requirements.
Sound understanding ofLoad Restraint (LR)principles.
Good understanding ofChain of Responsibility (CoR)legislation.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Ability to perform repetitive manual handling and hand unload freight.
Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Reliable, punctual and customer focused.
