Job summary

Cleanaway Australia is hiring a driver to join our Darwin team. You will safely operate waste collection vehicles, load and transport commercial waste, and deliver loads to recycling and disposal facilities while delivering excellent customer service.

We value safety, reliability and the ability to work independently as part of a supportive team. A valid HR licence and a willingness to operate different trucks are essential.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted HR Licence and reliability in safety-critical roles.
• Willingness to operate a variety of trucks and perform manual tasks.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating waste collection vehicles and completing daily checks.
• Loading, transporting and unloading commercial waste to facilities.
• Delivering loads to designated recycling and disposal sites.
• Providing friendly, professional customer service on site.
• Maintaining vehicle presentation and adhering to fatigue/safety rules.
• Passing pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

The Opportunity

• Safely operating waste collection vehicles

About You

We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused driver who enjoys working independently and as part of a team.

• Unrestricted HR Licence
• Experience or willingness to operate a variety of trucks
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
