Job summary

REMONDIS in Canberra, ACT is seeking a Front Lift truck operator to collect, transport and dispose of recyclable materials locally.

You’ll start early (5:00–6:00am), Monday to Friday with weekend work and overtime. A current HR licence and safe driving record are essential; experience in waste transport is preferred. Fitness Passport membership is available.

Qualifications

• Current HR licence and driving experience required.
• Solid knowledge of transport safety and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in waste industry is desirable but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Front Lift truck to collect, transport, and dispose of recyclable materials locally.
• Transport waste from commercial & industrial sites to landfill.
• Work safely in variable weather and road conditions, including unsealed surfaces.
• Complete daily safety checks and paperwork.
• Maintain a professional appearance and clean work environment.
