Job summary

Thales Group in Bendigo (VTS) is seeking a Driveline Engineer - Hardware for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will design, develop, and validate driveline components for tactical and military vehicles, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD and DEF STAN.

Based on Dja Dja Wurrung land, you will work with Creo Parametric to develop precision CAD models and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver reliable, customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
• Experience in design/manufacturing environments with OEM or Tier-1 suppliers.
• Able to analyse test data and prepare technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs and solutions meeting customer requirements and regulations.
• Conduct prototyping, trials, and demonstrations of developed solutions.
• Create, interpret, and optimise 3D CAD models using Creo Parametric.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Design, develop, and validate components for medium and heavy vehicles.
