Job summary

Impact Drill & Blast is expanding its South Australian operations and seeks a highly skilled Driller to join the team. The role focuses on precision blast hole drilling, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and reliability on remote sites.

Ideal candidates will have experience or a strong desire to learn, with certification in drilling operations advantageous and familiarity with Sandvik DPi or Pantera rigs. National police checks and an Australian Open Class Manual License are required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in blast hole drilling operations or a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
• Possession of a Certificate III in Drilling Operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Sandvik DPi or Pantera rigs is preferred.
• Proven track record of thriving in remote work environments.
• Ability to obtain national police check clearance and possess a current Australian Open Class Manual Drivers License.

Responsibilities

• Execute column and collar drill holes with precision drilling, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
• Maintain meticulous daily drill logs, perform pre-start checks, and manage time sheets efficiently.
• Cultivate a safety-centric approach while surpassing production forecasts.
• Regularly utilize safety tools such as Take 5 assessments and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Maintaining rigs in impeccable condition, ensuring they are clean, organized, and primed for operation.

Key Responsibilities
