Impact Drill & Blast is expanding its drilling operations in Australia, seeking a skilled Driller to join the South Australian team. You will execute column and collar drilling with precision, maintain logs and pre-start checks, and uphold a safety-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes working in remote sites, rig maintenance, and accurate reporting of consumables and maintenance issues, with opportunities for career growth and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in blast hole drilling operations or a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
• Certificate III in Drilling Operations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Sandvik DPi or Pantera rigs is preferred.
• Ability to obtain national police check clearance and possess a current Australian Open Class Manual Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Execute column and collar drill holes with precision drilling, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
• Maintain meticulous daily drill logs, perform pre-start checks, and manage time sheets efficiently.
• Cultivate a safety-centric approach while surpassing production forecasts.
• Regularly utilize safety tools such as Take 5 assessments and SWMS.
• Maintaining rigs in impeccable condition, ensuring they are clean, organized, and primed for operation.
• Diligent reporting of maintenance issues and meticulous record-keeping of consumables.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute column and collar drill holes with precision drilling, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
