Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited in Western Australia seeks a Drill Operator to support the Drill & Blast teams. Reporting to the Drill Supervisor, you will operate drilling and ancillary equipment safely to meet production targets on our Pilgangoora operation.

This permanent role offers an 8/6 day shift and 7/7 night shift roster, a competitive salary with quarterly incentives, and opportunities for career growth, with a strong safety culture and commitment to community and sustainable energy goals.

Qualifications

• Experience operating drilling and blasting equipment in a large open pit mining operation.
• HR Driver's Licence held and valid.
• Self-motivated, disciplined with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling/ancillary equipment safely to meet production targets.
• Maintain occupational health and safety standards on all tasks.
• Support Drill Supervisor and crew to ensure quality drilling and on-time outcomes.
• Complete Take-5s and report safety incidents and hazards.
• Maintain good relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal/external clients.
