Overview

Fullbore Quarry Services is a family-owned Australian business supplying drill & blast services to quarry and construction industry.

We are currently seeking experienced Drill Fitters and Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our local maintenance team and help strengthen our capability. Fullbore QS deploy, operate and maintain a modern fleet of Top Hammer and DTH drilling rigs, including Sandvik DP1100i / DP1500i & Ranger DX900i drill rigs.

We are currently seeking Field service technicians to operate in the Adelaide & surrounding area for our South Australia division.

About you
  • Preferred experience maintaining Surface Drilling equipment – Sandvik equipment preferred
  • Have strong problem solving, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
  • Strong and proven safety culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills & self motivated
  • Commitment to providing quality customer service
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, reference checks, police checks and regular onsite drug & alcohol testing
  • You must have the right to work in Australia
  • Have a current valid drivers license
Your role
  • As part of your role you will need to be able to service and repair Fullbore's fleet of drilling rigs
  • Follow company procedures including completing daily electronic inspections and forms using our cloud base IMS system
  • Understand Hydraulic and Electrical schematics
  • Understand parts manuals and workshop manuals
  • Reporting and regular updates to maintenance manager and drill & blast supervisor

Your role will require working autonomously as well as a part of a larger team. Your residential location may be flexible depending on your experience as we are requiring a roving Fitter to accommodate for the fleet in & around our South Australian customers base. You will have internal technical support and training from ex-Sandvik surface drill product specialist and experienced drill fitters.

Successful candidates will be provided with company field service 4WD, fuel card, laptop & specialist tooling. All travel to and from work sites will be paid at your set hourly rate. When working away accommodation & healthy overnight allowance will be paid.
